Modern drives are addressed 91 purely by sector number nowadays (lba addressing), and the 92 drive geometry is an abstraction which is actually subject 93 to change. THIS IOCTL IS 234 FULL OF GOTCHAS. Extreme caution should be used with using 235 this ioctl.
